Meeting the Hidden Challenges of Midlife with Wild Grace.
For many women, midlife arrives quietly — and then all at once.
Sleep becomes unreliable. Energy fluctuates. Weight shifts. Desire changes.
The nervous system feels more sensitive. Emotions feel closer to the surface, sharper, heavier, harder to ignore.
What once could be postponed or dismissed now asks for your full presence. You may be feeling:
more reactive OR more numb
less tolerant of what once felt manageable
clearer about what isn’t working, but unsure what is
deeply tired — not just physically, but existentially
These changes are often described as “menopause,” but what’s happening is far larger than a single biological milestone. This is far more than a hormonal transition, it is a reorganization of identity, priorities, boundaries, and truth.
And even as parts of life feel less familiar, something else is becoming unmistakably clear:
You're in the most powerful season of your life.
Not just hormonally, but emotionally, psychologically, & existentially.Â
A woman's midlife has always been a spiritual threshold,
even if it's never been named that.
The truth about women's midlife that's not often talked about...
Midlife is not just a hormonal event.
It’s an identity shift.
A meaning revolution.
A spiritual awakening.
Culture tells women that youth is the apex and everything after is maintenance, decline, or irrelevance. But the body tells a different story. It calls for honesty, power, and purpose.
Most women reach midlife without language for what’s happening.
Without initiation.
Without mentorship.
Without a map.
Midlife is your season of truth and you deserve tools for navigating it. This program gives language, structure, and spiritual practice to a transition that is a gift to experience.
Aging Was Never Meant to Be a Problem
Aging was never meant to be something to fix, hide, or resist.
It is a privilege.
A threshold into leadership, elderhood, and embodied wisdom.
But look around:
Where are the elders?
Where are the initiated women?
Where are the models of mature feminine power & dignity?
If you grew up watching women cling to youth, collapse into caretaking, or disappear altogether, of course you may have learned to fear age.
If your mother or grandmother didn’t make it to elderhood, or reached it without autonomy, reverence, or celebration, what mirror did you inherit?
The Questions Midlife Asks
(quietly, relentlessly)
Â
Who am I now without the identities that once defined me?
Who am I becoming as my body, desires, and priorities change?
What kind of elder do I want to grow into?
Am I trying to outrun this transition by staying busy, looking younger, working harder, or blending in?
Am I bypassing elderhood in the hope of extending youth — and at what cost?
What do I lose when I don’t meet this chapter consciously? What do we all lose when women are never supported to step into their authority?
Why midlife can feel so hard...
Midlife feels disorienting not because something is wrong with you, but because this transition was never meant to be navigated alone.
Without context, initiation, or guidance, the physical symptoms feel alarming.
The emotional shifts feel destabilizing.
The psychological questions feel overwhelming.
What you are experiencing is not failure.
It is a threshold.
And thresholds require structure, language, practice, and support.
The Invitation...
Imagine developing pride in your age.
Celebration instead of shame.
Vitality instead of decline.
Leadership instead of invisibility.
This chapter is asking for maturation, truth and elderhood.
The Antidote
The antidote to resistance is celebration.
The antidote to confusion is initiation.
The antidote to decline is meaning.
The antidote to invisibility is leadership.
Midlife is where feminine power stops being theoretical and becomes embodied.
Return to the Inner Temple
Feb. 16th -Â Apr. 27, 2026
_______________
Midlife is not a problem to solve.
It is an initiation into truth, purpose, and spiritual authority.
Â
Return to the Inner Temple is a three‑month journey for women in midlife, peri-menopausal, menopausal, or post-menopausal, who are ready to understand what is happening in their body, emotions, relationships, and sense of identity, and to meet this chapter as an passage into wisdom.
Through a guided journey across the seven chakras, you will learn new ways to root into safety, reclaim emotional truth, restore personal power, trust your intuition, and step into spiritual authority. This work is grounded in Kundalini Yoga, conscious feeling practices, ritual, mantra, and embodied inquiry, adapted specifically for the realities of midlife and beyond.
This is the curriculum women yearn to receive at midlife, a spiritual path to awaken the Truth within your bones and deeper meaning in your life.
Over three months, you will learn new rhythms of rest and vitality, develop emotional maturity rather than self‑abandonment, and reclaim a voice that speaks from lived truth. You will not be invited to transcend your body, but to embody maturity with dignity, power, and devotion.
A deeper intelligence is emerging within you.
This is the space where that elderhood is honored, celebrated, and embodied.
This is the Return to the Inner Temple.
Midlife is where truth rises closest to the surface.
When met with courage and curiosity, it becomes the beginning of wisdom.
This journey is a three-month initiation through the chakras for women in midlife.  Through advanced Kundalini Yoga, meditation, & the circle of women, we ground this transition in meaning, dignity, and spiritual authority.
Each Temple represents a threshold and an initiation; a place where midlife awakens a deeper truth in the body, psyche, and soul.
Root
Safety
The body is the first temple. In midlife, grounding restores stability in a time of change and uncertainty. Safety in the nervous system creates safety in perception, relationship, and choice.
SacralÂ
Feeling
Emotions move energy. Consciously feeling restores flow, reconnects desire, and dissolves numbness. Pleasure becomes the teacher that guides a woman back to herself. Deepen and relate authentically and intimately to the other whilst staying in your radical responsibility.
Solar Plexus
Power
Boundaries define power. Conscious anger becomes clean fuel for clarity, will, and self-respect. Midlife asks a woman to stop apologizing for her strength and embody the power she’s been harnessing her bleeding years.
Heart
DevotionÂ
Grief breaks open what has been closed. Compassion matures when a woman can love without abandoning herself. The heart becomes a place of truth instead of performance, pleasing and rescuing.
Throat
Voice
The voice reveals sovereignty. Speaking truth reorganizes relationships, agreements, and identity. Mantra awakens the resonance of authority inside the body and brings clarity to the mind.
Third Eye
Inner Knowing
Intuition is perception beyond the mind. Midlife dismantles doubt and reorders priorities toward what actually matters. Seeing clearly leads to living from inner authority. Your intuition becomes your internal GPS system.
Crown
Spiritual Authority
Devotion animates purpose. The Kundalini creative power awakens as Shakti, you organize it and deliver it as your unique purpose.
A woman crowns herself in each moment... staying present with herself.

My {Real & Raw} Story
My name is Pauline and I’m deeply passionate about guiding women to discover the innate knowing and power that lives within.Â
I've lived through three generations of suicide in my family, been broke, had health challenges and spent 20 years using drugs, alcohol and food to numb my pain.
I’ve learned through my challenging mental health journey that no woman is crazy by nature. We can learn to live in balance by returning to our nature and the cycles of our inner and outer Moon. Tending mindfully to the seasons of our lives.
And when we remember, learn to feel again and encourage new habits of a daily spiritual practice into our lives - far from perfection, but simply in Truth - we liberate ourselves from the indoctrination of this culture and it’s taboos.
I discovered a spiritual path and daily Sadhana through the Kundalini yoga teachings that enabled me to turn that trauma into purpose two decades ago.
At 40 years old, I birthed my daughter Sahej at home and that changed my life.
I deeply care about women and the ways we can serve the children of the Earth and our planet.
I founded Shakti school, a women’s learning sanctuary in 2008 and I’m here to simply be a guide on the path and share with you what I've received.
The mission of Shakti School is to give tools, practices and access to ancient Feminine teachings in a modern way to elevate the rising and balance of the Feminine Spirit.
I'm also a mother, musician and poet:
