Glamping
Immerse yourself in the jungle with high-end safari type tents. They are spacious with a teak hardwood floor, real ergonomic beds, lighting and fans. The tents are also covered with a bamboo and palm roof structure to protect from the sun and rain. Bathrooms are shared and outside the tent. While the tents do not have kitchenette, there is a fully equipped commercial kitchen available for all guests to use.

Travel Details
Arrival Airport & Shuttle
Flights from the US: Fly to Liberia, Costa Rica
Flights from Europe: you may need to fly to San Jose, you can then take a small plane to Nosara (45 mins) or get a shuttle (5 hours).
Shuttle: If you fly into Liberia, you will take about 2.5 hours by shuttle to Tierra Encantada.
If you fly into San Jose (Travel is approx 5 hours by shuttle). Or you can book a puddle jumper (40 mins)

Trip Insurance
Even if you think you could never, ever imagine canceling your participation in this amazing retreat, we recommend that you purchase a cancellation/travel insurance policy to protect your investment. >>insuremytrip.com is a company that has a multitude of policies to choose from, including a “cancel for any reason” rider option.
Payment Information
How to Reserve Your Spot
Your place is secured with either a $1,000 deposit or by paying in full.
If You Need to Cancel Before June 6, 2026
We understand that life happens and plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel 6+ months before the retreat, we’ll retain $500 of your deposit (or $500 of what you’ve paid so far). The rest will be refunded to you, or—if you prefer—applied as a credit toward a future retreat.
If You Need to Cancel On or After June 6 to August 30, 2026
Because we’re less than 6 months out, it’s very difficult for us to fill your spot. In this case, your $1,000 deposit (or $1,000 of what you’ve paid) will be non-refundable. Any additional payments you’ve made may be carried forward as a credit toward our next retreat.
No refunds will be available after August 30th, 2026
If Your Room Is No Longer Available
If you make a deposit for a room that is no longer available, you will have the option of choosing another room or receive a refund of your deposit, minus a $17 processing fee.
Payment Plans: After completing your deposit, you will receive a link to pay your remaining balance in a 3 month payment plan or make your payment in full. Please note, all payments must be completed by October 1, 2026 or 2 months prior to the retreat start date, so if you register less than 3 months prior to the retreat, you will be asked to complete your remaining balance in a single payment.

FAQ's
Q: Is yoga experience necessary?
A: Yes, you will want to have at least begun a practice of yoga. However, the yoga we teach, while challenging to each individual, will be accessible to practitioners at every level.
Q: What time should I plan to arrive/leave the retreat?
The retreat program will begin in the evening on Saturday, December 5th around 6pm CST. Ideally you would arrive at the retreat center around 4pm CST to get settled. Check in is not before 4pm
The retreat program will end on Saturday, Dec. 13th at 10am CST, so you can book your flight from Liberia anytime after 2pm CST, but if you need to leave earlier in the day for your flight, feel free to book what works for you (note: if you book your flight home prior to 2pm CST, you will need to organize your own shuttle to the airport)
Q: Can I bring a partner or friend?
A: Absolutely! If you have a partner who is a woman or you have a friend who wants to join, yes! Sharing this transformational week with someone close to you is such a gift.
Q: What is included in the price?
A: A shared luxury room or a single luxury room. Your accommodations at Tierra Encantada, all of your meals (with ample vegan and GF options), lectures, yoga, and 2 retreat excursions are included.
Q: What is not included in this price?
A: Shuttle to and from airport to center. Spa services, horseback riding, surf lessons, additional snacks, gift shop purchases, and incidentals.
Q: What about travel, vaccines, and money?
A: You will need a valid passport to travel to Costa Rica, but you will not need a Visa if you are coming from the US, Canada, or the European Union. No additional vaccines are recommended. If you’re planning to spend time off-site, you may want to get some Costa Rican Colones, although US dollars are widely accepted both at Tierra Encantada and in the surrounding community.
Q: Does the center have Wi-Fi?
A: Tierra Encantada provides complimentary WiFi for those who need to stay "connected" during their retreat.
Q: What should I bring?
A: Beach clothing, yoga clothing, and slip-on shoes! You can leave your shampoo and soap at home because luxurious and eco-friendly options are provided. Yoga mats and props are also provided, as are bath towels.
There are no laundry facilities, so we recommend packing accordingly.
Q: Are there places to stay before and after?
A: The area has many wonderful places to stay at all price points. There are budget-friendly hostels, luxury hotels, and yoga retreat properties all within a short drive of Tierra Encantada. For recommendations, please contact [email protected]
Q: Where do I fly into? What is the best way to get to Tierra Encantada?
A: – Liberia (LIR) is a 2-hour ride away from the retreat center. (Cost $60 when shared with 2-4 people) or single is approx $170
– San Jose (SJO), is about a one-hour charter flight away or a five-hour car/shuttle ride.
